Our Audio Transcriber members have successfully passed both theory and practical examinations, showing excellent vocabulary, grammar and punctuation skills, as well as being able to work under pressure.

Transcripts can be provided on an expedited basis, e.g. same day/overnight, or on a standard/delayed basis. This will be discussed between the client and the member on a case-by-case basis.

• Court Reporter and Speech-to-Text Reporter/Captioner since 1990, based in Salford, Greater Manchester, but I frequently travel.

• Qualifications and professional body memberships:
LLB(Hons); awarded Apsey-Haynes medal by BIVR for 260wpm; member of AVSTTR; member of the NRCPD register for STTRs.

• I use a state of the art Palan Neutrino keyboard with silent levered keys, not noisy cherry keys.

• I have extensive court reporting experience in every level of the criminal and civil justice system of the UK; international arbitrations; American depositions; disciplinary and regulatory proceedings; AGMs.

• I also have extensive STT experience, remote and on-site, at conferences with wide-ranging subject matters, for example specialist health conditions, union proceedings, tech, education, and finance. 1-1 provision of STT in a variety of settings, including conferences, offices/workplace, theatres.

• STT is delivered via Text-on-Top at on-site bookings, and 1CapApp for remote provision.
