I began training to be a Palantypist in Aug 1990 straight after finishing A'levels at school. I worked at Snaresbrook Crown Court and then after qualifying in 1993 I went to work at the Old Bailey. After transferring companies and moving to work at Courts in Essex for a few year, in 1998 I started to branch into STTR and live captioning work and have done mainly that ever since. I am a member of BIVR, AVSTTR and I am NRCPD registered.

I'm interested in deaf and disability issues. I've been learning British Sign Language for 18 months. I like to travel, especially to seaside resorts. I do regular bookings in London, Kent and Brighton but can be persuaded to work anywhere.

I love animals and have a small zoo at my house.
