I have been working in the stenographic field since 1992, having gained plenty of experience of both court reporting and captioning over the years, in Ireland; the UK; throughout mainland Europe; the USA and Australia.
Unfortunately, most of my work currently is being undertaken remotely, in large part due to travel restrictions.
I have extensive experience in providing realtime transcription (remotely and onsite) in a number of settings, including but not limited to:
• Live captioning for several national television stations
• National Commissions and Tribunals of Inquiry
• International arbitrations, eg. ICC, UNCITRAL, WTO and WIPO
• US Deposition hearings
• Criminal and civil court hearings
• Conferences & product launches, eg. Paypal, Google & Indeed
• Webinars and Lectures across business clients and academia
• Theatre, museum and gallery tour captioning
• Business conference calls and meetings
• I’ve even captioned some weddings!
I’m certified with the NCRA, National Court Reporters Association in the USA as a Registered Professional Reporter (RPR), a Certified Reporting Instructor (CRI) and a Certified Program Evaluator (CPE)
