NRCPD Registered Speech-to-text Reporter
BIVR Qualified Realtime Reporter (QRR)
I have been a stenographer since 2008, beginning my career at The Old Bailey and then The Royal Courts of Justice as a court stenographer.
In 2014, I joined Linklaters as a Speech-to-text Reporter working for a deaf lawyer in the Financial Markets Department. In 2016, the position moved to Hong Kong. I decided to stay in the UK and started working in a freelance capacity, providing verbatim Speech-to-Text at meetings, conferences, film sets, festivals and theatres.
In 2021, I joined the in-house captioning team at J.P. Morgan, providing CART (Communication Access Real-time Translation – the US term for Speech-to-Text) to individual end users globally for their meetings and providing captioning into firm-wide Zoom events such as Town Halls, internal conferences, talks and seminars.
I joined the National Registers of Communication Professionals (NRCPD) in May 2019.
