Our Audio Transcriber members have successfully passed both theory and practical examinations, showing excellent vocabulary, grammar and punctuation skills, as well as being able to work under pressure.
Transcripts can be provided on an expedited basis, e.g. same day/overnight, or on a standard/delayed basis. This will be discussed between the client and the member on a case-by-case basis.

I began my stenography training in 1995 and started working as a realtime court reporter in London in 1996, working in the Royal Courts of Justice and the Old Bailey.
These days I primarily provide live remote captioning (also known as remote speech-to-text or CART services) from my home in Wiltshire. As owner/director of Osmond Reporting Ltd, recently trading as SubText Live Captioning, I provide live captions to big or small screens for conference calls, meetings, lectures, webcasts, conferences – any setting where high quality audio is available – as well as streaming live captions for tablet tours and talks in museums, galleries and other art venues. I also deliver live TV broadcast subtitles along with more traditional fast turnaround transcription services in the legal field and beyond.
I am a Registered NRCPD Speech-to-Text Reporter and I've passed the following Quality Realtime Reporter examinations: QRR1 (with Distinction), QRR2 (with Distinction) and QRR3. Additionally, I am a Certified Realtime Captioner (CRC) with the National Court Reporters Association, USA.
I am happy to mentor steno students who might be in need of advice and encouragement whilst training in this challenging but highly rewarding career.
