I’m a realtime court reporter with 30 years experience, working first in Crown Court after qualification and in the High Court in England, qualifying first with the Association of Professional Shorthand Writers and then the British Institute of Verbatim Reporters, of which I have been a member for 23 years.

I have worked in a wide variety of environments and subject areas, providing realtime reporting and regularly working on same day transcription.  I specialised in the Patents Court, working on many technical and complex cases, as well as London and International arbitrations, transcription of disciplinary hearings for various bodies, US depositions and Canadian examinations.

I have provided verbatim transcripts of conferences for international trades unions and large UK-based organisations.  I have also been involved in many confidential court proceedings and other matters.

I work as a court reporter, covering US depositions and arbitrations, both in London and Europe, while also often working in the Middle East and India.  I also work as a Speech to Text Reporter in and around the London area, providing support to deaf and hearing impaired clients using stenographic techniques, both on a one-to-one basis and in larger conference type settings, as well as working remotely in the same field.
