Nicola Dutton QRR*

Council Member. Co-opted September 2015

Based in London, I’ve been a stenographer since 1996.
I started my career in the Crown Courts and then worked as a broadcast captioner for 12 years with the BBC.
Since 2009, I have enjoyed providing  live speech-to-text (remote and onsite) at meetings, conferences, lectures, festivals and museums.
I was accredited by BIVR as a Verbatim Speech-to-Text Reporter (VSTTR) in 2014.
I achieved a Distinction (*) when I undertook a Qualified Realtime Reporter examination in September 2015.
I was co-opted on to the BIVR Council at the AGM in September.
